Technè Contemporary Art was formed by four artists, Caterina Pellicanò, Angela Pellicanò, Salvatore Lumia and Caterina Scarmamozzino. Having worked for many years in applicative arts, the originality of their work was confermed when they were selected to represent Italy at the “Carrouselle du Louvre” in Paris in 2004. They are based in Reggio Calabria .

Fanette Cardinali was born in Paris in 1964 and moved to Italy with her parents as a child. She took over her fathers studio in 1984 in Chiusi della Verna, Tuscany. Her pasion has been for ceramics, form and colour with an eye for elegance and sober design. She has taught the art of ceramics in Toscana, Umbria and Brasil. Her work spans from artisitic creations to commercial ceramics.
