Katrin Grote-Baker - Florence, Italy

Katrin Grote-Baker was born near Hamburg, Germany in 1968.  After studying art history at the Humboldt Universität in Berlin, she dedicated herself fulltime to painting. Since then she has lived and worked between Italy, Germany, and the United States, where her works are held in public and private collections. Most recently she has exhibited in Boston and northern Germany. In September, 2006 she moved from Boston back to Florence, where she has established her permanent studio.
