Gizara’s extensive work with the public relations firm Roger’s & Cowan has included film and television stills work, as well as portraits of celebrities.
Gizara’s fine art photography & paintings can be found in numerous private collections in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Boston, New York City and Las Vegas. She has been awarded two grants to document Westford, Massachusetts the small town in which she grew up. Her thirst for visual beauty has led her on travels around the world including Indonesia, France, Italy, Mexico, Alaska, Hawaii, California and through out the United States. Her recent attempt at a trans-Pacific crossing aboard a 48’ sailing ketch was published as a photographic essay in Ventura Magazine.  She was quoted in an article on the artistic process in The Reader’s Digest. Gizara is currently a photographer for Ventura Life & Style Magazine. Her celebrity portrait of CBS’s Late Late Show Host Craig Ferguson appeared on the Spring 2005 cover.

Gizara presently lives on a sailboat in Ventura Harbor and in Santa Monica, California with Elsie Mae her furry-faced, four-legged muse as their journeys continue.
